no. not as long as you follow directions. if it is a new set up dont worry about cloudy water. it is normal and will go away soon.

get some CYCLE. It is good bacteria in a bottle. It will help break down fish waste. You cannot overdose your fish with it.

No as long as you put it in the water and then put your betta in. Also, check the label on the bottle. Most of them say if they are safe for the fish.

you shouldnt have to use a water clarifier if you are maintaning the water correctly. how big is the tank, or bowl? how often do you change your water? and what kind of water are you putting in?
