I've seen hostility from both sides of the political fence!
Your question about "Bush's horrible foreign policy" didn't get any terribly hostile answers.

Perhaps your perspective on conservatives comes from the fact that they are able to make a decision and go with it. Realizing it may turn out to have been the incorrect decision, and allow that some correction may be needed down the road. While non-conservatives have a much harder time making decisions and actually getting things done. It does seem as though most non-conservatives can only talk about [it], and actually do relatively nothing but talk. PS I do hope that was not too 'cuthroat' for you. LOL

First of all you should learn to spell...LEGITIMATE
Second of all you act as if your question were pure and un-biased which they are not .If you see the hateful and ignorant responses given by democrats and other radical leftists when the question has a more centrist or Republican slant you would know that charged questions received charged answers and while I won't stoop to YOUR childish level not everyone has the same control.
Now if you really wanted sincere answers you would not bias your questions so much...
For example if I posed the question;
Are all democrats traitors?
This would provoke a very negative response from democrats and I'm sure most responses would not be educated ,peace loving and "adult like" .It would be silly of me to then criticize the responses that simply took my bait on that question.
So your questioning is infantile and hateful but I will leave you in that position and hopefully someday evolution will come to your neighborhood.

Sorry. I didnt answer like that, but I apologize on behalf of the hateful ones. Too many people, both liberals and conservatives(I do see more liberal hate than conservative hate I must admit), post hateful answers and stupid questions. well, sometimes seeing things in black and white is not a bad thing, sometimes it is. We just have to know when to see things a certain way.

You know, I guess it's really just perspective. I think the exact same thing about the anti-war liberals. I am NOT a Nazi. (That one totally pisses me off - if you are comparing conservaties - or Bush - to Hitler, you need to go to the library and read up on the Nazis.)
Sorry - digressing. I am not a war-monger, but I do support the war. Anti-war liberals act as if I am not entitled to my opinion as an American; they demand to know why I'm not serving. No, I'm not in the military, but two of my brothers served; one is still in the Guard and might be going to Iraq. My uncle is a decorated Vietnam vet, two cousins are currently serving - one Army and one Marine. My father holds the title of Civilian Aide to the Secretary of the Army. I think that I'm more than qualified to have an opinion.
I am not a racist. I am not an in-bred hillbilly. I am not only perfectly capable of thinking for myself, I actually DO. Most (not all, I'll be honest) of my opinions are not based on emotion, they are based on facts.
I work with a bunch of really awesome political scientists. Even though we don't see eye to eye on things, they respect my opinions and are always happy to talk to me about world and national affairs. I read the newspaper and watch both CNN and Fox News, yet I'm still painted as a total idiot, just because I don't agree with their point of view. I admit to getting too snarky with people on YA, but it's usually the people who make idiotic generalities about conservatives.
My opinion and advice is to take the good and blow off the bad. There are a lot of good people in this country, and frankly, the majority really isn't all that far apart on most issues. Partisanship will never end - it's up to each of us to choose to rise above it or not.
Climbing off my soap box now. Sorry for being so wordy.

I tend to be on the conservative side on many items. On political sections both sides tend to feel strongly on their positions. Many on the conservative side feel the ones they classify as liberal are equally hateful or that their answers aren't thought out. Many liberals appear to believe the world can be a utopia. They seem to forget if the Garden of Eden was real, even there man was given chores to do.

I don't consider my answers hateful, but I will argue my point. I don't see just black and white, I am no child. Maybe it is the way you ask the question. The majority of questions on here are just as hateful about conservatives.

We are not anymore hostile than the Dems on this site. That is for sure. Saying that our president should hang, like Saddam and Republicans/conservatives should be executed. I call that hostile. And those are all things I have read on this forum from Dems.

It's not a matter of being pro war. Yes, there's a few hateful types on here, not just conservatives.
Let me ask you this. If I came to your house, or to your friend's house and punched you in the mouth on 5 or 6 different occasions, would you let me keep doing it or fight back?

I have read question such as this one from both sides. Honestly if you take the question and rephase it in a conservative way then it would have been a question I have read over 50 times this week alone. The hatred exists in people from both parties not just one. The name calling exist from people in both parties.
With that said, I will answer how I have seen many of the conservatives answer such question.
Because they don't have any answers so they resort to name calling, rudiness, etc.
