What the heck happened to AC/DC?

They were rumored to be releasing a new album and touring to promote it back in 2005 but since they released the DVD "The Family Jewels", they've completely disappeared.

New album
AC/DC are currently working on a new studio album. According to Malcolm Young: "the band is currently recording and writing material for the eagerly anticipated next album, but no release date has been set."[47] In a 2004 interview, Brian Johnson revealed that he was handling lyrics, for the first time since the 1988 album, Blow Up Your Video. He also said Angus Young has written harder riffs than the ones which appeared on Stiff Upper Lip.[48] In a 2005 interview Johnson confirmed that the band do not know where the album will be recorded, or who will produce it, and Malcolm Young said this new album has "gotta be perfect". Johnson also mentioned the possibility that the next release could be a double album.[49] In December 2006, The Daily Mirror, a British newspaper, stated that AC/DC are the main act being asked to perform at the Slane Concert in 2007.[50]

Supposedly they are working on their final album which will be followed by their final tour. I can't remember where I read that though, but it was fairly recent (in the last month).

Well also keep in mind when Ballbreaker was released rumored to be the last. So..... never know. Heard they are in studio doing some final mixing though if that helps.
