My oldest daughter brushes her teeth in the shower. I spend a lot of time brushing mine sometime up to 8 minutes or more. All the teeth you take care of now will work for you when you get older - it's a pain to have the fake ones. My grandmother, who I look up too, is a very wise woman and all she tells me I follow. I'm curious to see how many more brush their teeth in the shower. I thought this was odd, but I guess not.

It's not so much how long you do it as how well you do it. Teeth and tongue should be brushed when you wake up and before you go to bed. I would suggest going over your teeth in a brushing motion at least twice. Brushing, flossing, and rinsing should be done every night, once you aren't going to eat anymore. Mouth wash should be used in the morning and night brushing. Brush first, floss second, rinse last. I would do in it the sink, so you can do all three.

2 minutes with a soft toothbrush brush. Medium and hard toothbrushes wear away the gum line. Either in the shower or in the sink. That's optional. And for the best results, don't forget to floss!

I rinse with Listerine Whitening, brush with Crest Pro-Health, floss, use a Waterpik water jet, floss again, then brush again...minimum of three times per day.

In the basin.
