How do I open the box to type in a code? I really need money and I wanted to use a code but I don't know how to open the box.I am new to the Sims 2 for PC.

Ctrl + E or just go and find out the code on cheatcodes.com

press the keys Ctrl, Shift, and C. it helps if you hold Ctrl first, then while holding that, press Shift, and while holding the Alt and Shift, press the C and then let go. I also had a problem getting it up when I first got the Sims ;D

ctrl+shift+c then type in motherlode and press enter it will give you 50 thousand dollars more
