lolz for the exwife comment...but yeah someone suffering from bipolar disorder...formerly known as manic depression. can change moods from o - 6 seconds or can last a while in the same mood.

i would say that it probably wouldn't hurt for them to see a counsellor to talk about their depression. or if u want, I M someone to get stuff off your chest. hope this helps.
