Every month at exactly 1 week before my period I get the nomal cramps and bloating but I also get this odor between my legs, it's not a horrible stink, it's just an akward and uncomfortable smell. What could it be? Should I worry?

It is very normal. It is your vagina cleaning itself, because the week before your period is when some women are most fertile.

Unfortunately women have this problem - make sure you douche after each period. But you know what i have realized since i have been celibate, no smells - it could be your man. But try this if you're not already doing these things see a doctor. Drink plenty of water and cranberry juice, also take laxatives clean your system. If you are in the menopausal age group then you may be menopausing and that can cause a lot of issues. When i started menopausing my period was whacked out and my vagina was doing crazy things. You could also have an infection.
Good luck

I could proabably be the dry blood and makes and ordor went the blood is in the air its normal just change every 4-6 hours. But if its something else it could be a problem for you if it has ordor & discoloration on your discharge then you need to go to a docter it could be a yeast infection but not quite sure just get a check up if your curious.

I think a lot of women have an unusual smell close to or during that time of the month. Unless you have some discolored discharge as well, I wouldn't be too worried.

First! If you don't want the lads to know your personally problems, do not title your question 'Ladies Only!' as every pervert or nosy git on the planet will click on here. It's common sense, love!
Next time you talk about uncomfortable smells and bloating, please title your question: "Boyfriend Trouble" and no man on earth will click on it as they would rather chop off their own willly with a rusty bread knife.
But while I'm here, I might as well answer your question and say that you don't need to worry as it's common, normal and most ladies suffer from this.

If it is just a different smell.... not one that smells bad like an infection... it is probably just your body reacting to the hormone changes prior to your period.
Everyone's body is different. I notice a change in the consistency of the lubrication... but no smell. Other people may have other changes that occur at different times of the month.
If truly in doubt... talk to your doctor. But I have a feeling it is just your normal body cycle.

Note if you have any discharge during this time. If the discharge is a milky colour and accompanied by itching it's a yeast infection. It can be treated with over-the-counter products from the pharmacy. To help prevent it, keep the area clean and dry, and wear cotton underwear.

It seems as though you have some sort of infection, but I don't see why there would only be an odor at that time of the month... I wouldn't worry though.... just go see a doctor!! you can check mayoclinic.com they have info on everything......

sounds like a typical infection from your microbes being out of balance, something that happens when hormones fluctuate. ask your dr about it.
Or I have also heard (this is not a joke) that eating live cultured yogurt helps because it gets things back in balance. My guess is that acidophilis might do the same thing. (vitamin section of grocery store)
But ask your dr. just to make sure

All of us get unique signs of PMS. a friend of mine gets cramping legs before her period. I'm sure there's nothing to worry about - but if you're still concerned ask your doctor at your next visit.
Maybe try applying arm deoderant or perfume between your legs if it bothers you?
