They are stars which have collapsed under their own gravity (because they were supermassive stars and didn't just fizzle out) after they burn out. We know that there is an "event horizon" which is a point where once you are too close to a black hole and pass this line, you are basicly transformed into light as you approach the light barrier and the laws of phsyics totally break down. Some say the mass is all squeezed intoa pea sized molicule, some say goes to another dimension where gravity is super strong, some believe that since out of each end of a black hole huge amounts of emergy are sprayed out like a hose, that perhaps the energy is just being re-distributed via xrays and otehr forms of broken down energy.

a million) there is not any such element as a 'rip' = that's a time period made up for a babies television software (see 'Dr Who) 2) Black Holes kind at the same time as a enormous celeb collapses and the gravitational field turns into so intense that even mild can not destroy out .. (subsequently 'black'). The 'hollow' bit comes from the failure of our theories that takes position at the same time as attempting to describe what's occurring on the middle of a 'black hollow'. in order that that you already understand .. area and time do not flow 'infinite', there is not any 'decision universe' and not in any respect something 'disappears' on the middle or a black hollow (each and each and every of the Mass continues to be right here = all of us understand because all of it is GRAVITY continues to be right here) .. Our Theories are incorrect and all of us understand they are incorrect .. (it really is what the infinities are telling us ..) after we finally upload Quantum idea to Einstein we are able to understand what's happening and it would want to have not something to do with 'rips contained in the textile of time and area' no count number number what you hear on FOX or different babies television channels .. each and everything else you're likley to have study is concept with information from specialist storytellers who write comics (aka newspapers) and picture plots for Hollywood ..

A black hole is an object predicted by general relativity, with a gravitational field so powerful that even electromagnetic radiation (including light itself) cannot escape its pull.

Black holes are matter that is so dense and heavy that it's gravity is all concentrated on one single spot. You may not feel it a couple of miles away from the black hole, but as soon as you get close enough it will suck you in.

They're extremely dense concentrations of matter, and so have a huge gravitational pull. They are called black holes because they absorb even light, so they appear black.

well i just recently went to a show about black holes and i learned that they are actually worm holes that may be a passage to another demension but anything that goes through it molecules are taken apart(which kill you) and are never rebuilded on the other side. the earth is not doomed because these are only found in the milky way. black holes that hit other black holes actually combine to become one larger one!!!!it is all very interesting you should look into it

They aren't holes. They are singularities - extremely condensed matter to the point where it's so dense that the laws of physics break down. They are created when massive stars die. As they accrete matter, they become more massive.

They are stellar like objects. The only thing that is unusual is that they are so massive, their gravitational pull does not allow light to escape, so they appear "black"

look at this like a car that goes faster than the speed of light and suck stuff in and take it to another dimension
