Plan B? well if you arent. its a 72 hour pill that you can take after unprotected sex. you take one pill within 72 hours or 3 days after unprotected sex.. and another one 12 hours later. last night i spent the whole night with my boyfriend... something happened blah blah. well turns out i was alittle paranoid. so i went to the local CVS that sells PLAN B over the COUNTER!!! i took the product up to the counter and said i need to buy this she said NO, i will not sell that to you because it's against my morals. I'm trying to get the ***** fired.. which will probably be successful.ANyway... what are some points i could bring up in court and what do you think about this?

okay it was 3 in the morning there were 2 people in the fkin building. the other guy had only been there for two days so he didnt know the difference between a turkey sandwich and plan b. besides that who's talking about a bunny??? HA. Plan B is made for people like me. thats what believe. and i feel pretty damn strong about it. now since i asked for your opinion im going to respect it. and if I were to get pregnant. and took the pill right away.. it just stops the sperm from fertalizing an egg. theres not a heartbeat until 45 days later. i understand if i were 16 years old going in there wanting some cough and cold medicine to over-dose on, then she would be right but this time shes not. i didnt ask for her opinion i asked for plan B... how would you like it if people followed you around telling you their opinion when you didnt ask for it? i about slapped her.

that's crazy i mean we all have stuff we believe in but when i go to a store i don't want the check out girl telling me what i can and canot buy
once i went to Kmart and i had my little sister with me she was like 4 and she wanted that pregnant barbie anyway we are in line and the girl said that me buying my little sister the Dole was abuse and how could i in good faith not only buy her a pregnant doll but one that was black(we are white and so was the cashier)
well i asked for the manger who was black i didn't know that until she came out i told her want had happen and she pulled the girl off the register not pulled her in a fight told her to go to the office
so anyway i just left it at that i didn't press charges or anything
i think people really need to lear tha tin business you have to keep your personally thoughts and feeling to your self
good luck

I don't even know where to begin. For one thing... If you don't want to get pregnant and you want to have sex, then YOUR BUTT NEEDS TO BE ON BIRTH CONTROL!!!!!! I have heard of Plan B, but i'm not really familiar with it. I always used birth control (b/c i had made a choice that i wasn't ready to get pregnant). I do know that people who are making up all these new ways to take things (after you already had sex) are trying to pay God. And it doesn't always work. Sweety if you don't want kids right now, the best thing is to get on birth control. Don't depend on an after sex drug. ~And i do want to say that you are right about this person that was at the cvs counter. She shouldn't of done that to you, she has no right to tell you what you can or can't get in a store (unless it's agains the law). Did you think about bringing the problem up to the clerk's boss (the clerks manager) and letting them handle the problem?

basically all you need is that she violating your rights. she has a right to her own opinion but her job is to serve you as a customer and not to judge you. it's plain and simple If i were you I would sue the company you could win a lot of money and get the girl fired at the same time the company will do anything to to keep you quiet because they can't afford to loose any customers over something like this because a huge portion of there customer are teens needing pregnancy test and it's already hard enough to go in to a store and purchase a test or pills or what ever else related to premarital sex without the fear of being judged, if people found out it would put a huge dent in there sales.

That's right. You are a customer and you deserve to be treated as such. Her opinion doesn't matter in your life nor decicisons. Is she gonna help pay all your bills when that baby arrives? I didn't think so. I hope you are super successful with this. And if you could find someone who witnessed the event that would be helpful in your case against her. Did you make complaints to the manager/supervisor about her when the event took place? This could also work in your favor ... you just really have to prove what happened. They will have to pay you a crap load of money if you're successful ... that is downright rude and discriminatory I'm sure. Who is she to judge you? Not God that's for sure ... Good luck with your case and I hope you end up gettin that lady fired and a buttload of money!!

If it's against her belief, then she should have gotten someone else to sell it to you. She obviously doesn't own the store or she would not have stocked it in the first place. Talk to the owner of the store and district manager if it is a chain store. You should make your views known about the employee to the management. They have a right not to sell, but this is a health issue. It would be like going to an emergency room and someone does like your sex or you don't have insurance. This is a problem in small towns in the middle of nowhere where they have moral guardians. So this doesn't happen again to you or someone else, setup a network. If you tell the ownership that you and others can get most of your drugs cheaper by mail and intend to do so. It might get them moving.

Was this a store clerk, or a pharmacist?
If it was a pharmacist, then they are well within their right to not sell the medication, if they feel it is against their beliefs. That law is applicable in both the US and Canada.
I, myself, have worked as a Pharmacy Technician for 7 years, and have seen many women come in for Plan B, and I, nor my pharmacist has ever had trouble selling it. But, everyone is entitled to their personal beliefs, and if the person could not sell it to you because it went against their moral compass, then you need to have some understanding. Think about something that you believe so strongly about(let's say animal cruelty) and you work in a pet store. A scientist comes up to you and says that he would like to have a bunny, and he is going to use this bunny for research purposes and is going to cut him open and look at his brain. How would you feel? Would you sell him the bunny?
Think about it.
Good Luck to you

I think your doing the right thing if you feel its the right thing. I have worked retail for alittle over seven years and i have never once heard of someone being told NO over something like that and i have worked for drug stores. That woman should of got someone else to sell it to you if she didn't want to she had no right doing what she did. And i would have her fired also. she needs to realize that she works in a pharmacy that carries that product so she needs to learn to deal with the fact she still has to sell it or find another job.

Yes true indeed she was no right not to voice her opinion to you as far as why she denyied the sale.
HOW DARE YOU make the comment that plan B was made for people like you..it's people like you why it shouldn't b sold over the counter. Plan b is a abortion in a pill for people that were RAPED, SEXUALLY MOLESTED. Not for IRRESPONSIBLE HOT-CAN'T KEEP THEIR LEGS CLOSED "girls" like you. If you were paranoid then you shouldn't have been "doin the do".
With the same respect to your feelings what about hers--yes she needs a job, she probably even likes her job and because she has beliefs, you want to get her fired!!!???? You need to get a grip!! Next time tell her to ring up some CONDOMS for you. (they have flavors too.)

First of all why should she sell it to you if its against her morals no one makes vegetarians eat hamburgers so why are you making a big deal out of it. Okay that being said if she truly knew what birth control was she shouldn't sell that either because its the same thing just less concentrated and taken daily. Plan b does the same thing. Secondly why didn't you just ask for the manager? hello or for some one else to ring it up. thirdly as far as I knew you had to ask the pharmacist for it you can't just go and grab it off the shelf. Your story doesn't quite add up unless laws are diff in diff area's. Yes its over the counter but it's like sudafed you have to ask for it...

Alot of people consider the morning after pill the same as a abortion..wrong or right ..I would ask the manager at the store, you could probley have the manager sell them to you. this has been debated on tv for the last couple months
