All three of these qb's have been highly overhyped. Who is most overrated: Michael Vick, Eli Manning, or Tony Romo?

Mike Vick for sure is overrated. Good job rushing for 1,000 yards but HE IS A QUARTERBACK.

Jon Kitna had more passing yards than Vick had passing, rushing, and receiving combined.

He is a horrible thrower and has even worse judgement. He is not a team leader and most certainly is not one who a franchise can build itself around. He needs to get the boot before the Falcons have to find another coach next season.

As far as Eli Manning, he was only overhyped during the draft. He was not that great of a college quarterback and he certainly is not a good NFL QB either. The media, fans, and his team realize how pitiful he has become. He is not even close to being overrated in any standards whatsoever. He was a question mark coming into the season and comes out hopefully a back up.

As far as Tony Romo, he has proven himself. Playing a total of 12 games and leading a team with much media problems around it. Romo is in the Pro Bowl due to having the fifth highest QB rating in the NFL, second highest completion percentage, and the most yards per attempt in the NFL. He messed up a snap, what QB hasn't done that once in his career? Plus, that game was not his fault to lose, Gramatica whiffed on a block that would of surely sent Romo in the endzone or at least the first down, Whitten fumbled giving the Seahawks an easy three points, Glenn fumbled for a safety and gave the Seahawks the ball back in which they scored the TD to go on top and win the game, and well, both Glenn and Owens drop some pretty catchable balls. So no Romo is not overrated. Overhyped, YES. But definately not overrated.

Eli Manning is neither overrated nor overhyped. It's the media that chooses to focus on him ALL THE TIME and he is unfairly compared to Peyton who's arguably the greatest QB of all time (I'm talking about stats and on-the-field performance, not championships). Michael Vick has the skills but you can argue over whether his lack of talent at WR has hurt him. He's a great talent though, when disciplined (which is not often). Tony Romo...there's overrated for you. 9 starts and a Pro-Bowl selection. But after that playoff game, I guess he's come back to Earth now, don't you think?

I'd like to say Romo because I hate the Cowboys, but the guy doesn't have a full year under his belt yet and at times this year he has looked somewhat promising. As for the other 2, without a doubt I say Eli Manning. Vick is a very close 3rd but Manning, to me, doesn't seem like a long time NFL quarterback. He looks scared on the field and seems like he will never become a leader. Vick has those legs and an occasional good passing game. Both over hyped, overrated, and also overpaid!

You know what? I love the Colts! They are my favorite team! But sometimes I think that all of this Drama with Peyton and Eli has just gone way way too far! And it puts more pressure on them to perform the way that the media and others make them out to be! Now; I think Peyton Manning is the Best Quarterback in the NFL. I would say that if I was raised and born in L.A. Its not just because I'm a Colts fan. But media hype in my mind has somewhat gotten to some of these players heads. I don't mean "Arrogance" I'm talking about being distracted. And feeling like they are always playing desperately. I think if Peyton and Eli would be cool during games and not try to force things, they would be even better! As far as saying who is underrated or who is overrated well; its tough to say! Give Romo time and I bet you he will have a superbowl ring! You can't expect these guys to get it done right away! It takes time!

Vick has been neither. Vick has been good but is not close to reaching his potential because he has not had a coach that progressive enough to use him as he should be, hopefully Petrino can do that. Vick is the greatest weapon he can run (fast) and throw, he needs to develop his short passing game and he's the ultimate offensive weapon. Eli is more over everything because he told SD he didn't want to play for them and got his way (be careful what you wish for). Romo sucks and is a low budget Favre wannabe. He was on the bench for a reason.

Tony Romo all the way. He wins like 4 games and all of the sudden he's the next Troy Aikman. Trust me in a couple of years Tony Romo will be right where he belongs, sitting on the bench.

Michael Vick. I believe it's his 4th year, and he hasn't done nearly what is expected of him and his sympathizer's excuse is always wait til next year. Eli Manning is not really over rated anymore, the football pundits think he stinks now. As for Romo it's his first year and he did pretty well for a rookie (the jury is still out).

Probably Vick. Most people agree Eli sucks and that Romo has done nothing yet.

Manning is tremendous because he's probable extra ideal at information and reading defenses than any coach/offensive coordinator available...why do you imagine no you'll call the Colts O Coordinator? If something, the OC is overpaid because Manning runs the coach...in case you want data as to his greatness, look at the video games the in simple terms proper couple of years at the same time as they performed the Ravens; it replaced right into a chess journey between he and Ray Lewis. ok, some non "purists" don't like the calls on the line and the shifts and dealing the play clock all the way down to a million second each possession, notwithstanding that is organic genius. regrettably, until eventually he wins the tremendous one, he will by no skill silence the naysayers, comparable to he did again in college vs. Florida. they ought to have beaten "the fool kicker" on the sector after he purposely shanked that kick...he knew he replaced right into a goner and had to extremely screw the crew and Manning...

Vick..
most have jumped off Eli's bandwagon..
Romo is over-rated and over-hyped but it will take a few more years of it to reach Vicks level.
