What type of housing would William of Orange have lived in?

I know he lived in the Netherlands, but what kind of place did he live? I'm speaking of something like a castle or whatever it was. Also, where was this place? Did it have a name? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

It's called Prinsenhof, in the city of Delft. He lived there and was assassinated there in 1584. Here's the official website:
