The back of my hand keeps surprising me (with a new spot, a new hair, etc.), and it's not like I spend minutes or hours staring at my hands...
That's what makes me laugh at comments like, "I know _____ like the back of my hand."

So true-the back of my hand comment!You know, I've never really paid much attention to my hands now that you mention it. How sad , I've taken one of the most crucial extremities we have for granted.
