"I Want To Live." A movie made in 1958 starring Susan Hayward about Barbara Graham, the first woman sent to the gas chamber at San Quentin. Filmed in B&W. A hard hitting "film noir" type with a great script, ensemble cast and jazz score. It was nominated for 12 Oscars. Haywood won for best actress, as did Robert Wise for directing. Definitely worth a look. Really a classic from that era.
