When the apple iPhone comes out will you be able to unlock it for use with US Cellular?

I would love to have this phone but do not want to change my service. Will I be able to use it with my current provider which is US Cellular if I get one that is unlocked?

No because the iPhone is a GSM phone and US Cellular is CDMA. The two digital technologies are incompatible with each other.

Apple has contracted their service to Cingulair Wireless. So no you can not use it with US Cellular.

My understanding is Cingular has a 2 year exclusive contract with Apple to provide cell service to it.
