I think it was a network virus cause its happening on my other computer too, I bought a wireless keyboard and mouse so I can use my computer, already ran several antiviruses found and deleted some trojans but my keyboad and mouse still dont work? Did a total system restore back to factory setting still no help, what can I do to fix this?

check the battery, try doing the re-sync of the keyboard/mouse with the wireless unit connected to the usb port on your computer. Could be the virus killed the mouse/keyboard driver.

This is most unlikely to be a Virus issue. I would say you have two separate problems.

a) Virus
b) Faulty keyboard Mouse

Check your Keyboard and Mouse on a known working computer. If they still don't work there is a issue with these devices. The batteries are flat or they are faulty.

As far as your computer is concerned if you have done a Restore and still have problems it may be time to do a complete Format and Re install of Windows. It's often the best way to deal with Virus

if you do a system restore as in used the cds (or sometimes built in software) to restore the computer to factory settings all viruses have been erased. first try your old mouse and keyboard maybe you didnt install the new ones correctly. your'e probably just missing a driver on your computer. if your old mouse works just download or install the drivers for the wireless items and voila.

I doubt it was a virus, they just really don't make viruses like that, at least not often. But yeah, just do what the above said and things should work fine.
