NO QUESTION that it's U2. U2 has been around for more than 25 years. Bowling for Soup will most likely be totally forgotten within 5.
Ringtone:
For something new(er), go with the song "Beautiful Day." For a classic, use "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For."

It's obvious most of the people who have answered this question are teenybopper pimple-squeezers who don't know crap about crap and their musical tastes have yet to mature. U2 have been one of the most successfull bands in the past 25 years!!! They've sold over 40 million albums. They currently hold the record for the most Grammys won by a single band. They are one of the most influential and critically acclaimed bands ever. And you're comparing them to "Bowiling for Soup"???? Some flash in the pan crap band with nearly no hits to their name accept for that retarded "1985" song which by the way, sucks!
You kids should turn off your Playstations, grow the hell up and let your tastes mature a little. Let's see where Bowling For Soup is in five years and see if U2 is still out there...

I don't know many songs form each, but they both have good ones. U2 has Beautiful Day and Vertigo, and Bowling For Soup has 1985, and Almost. I personally would go for Almost.
