Get my clothes,shoes, hair products, personal care items ready the night before.
I also put any paperwork, lists, items I need to return, my car keys, etc in a plastic grocery bag with handles and hang it on my door knob..that way I don't forget anything I may need for the day !

Becoming an Empty-Nesting Single Retiree .. with all the Adult Children OUT of the home now .. SO MUCH time is being saved that I'm getting more done, the HOME is more pleasant, and I've also been able to sleep a bit more every night too.

Every year on December 18th, I pick fights with all my friends and relatives.
It's a tricky thing. I want to wait until their presents to me are in the mail, but while I still have an excuse not to send them one.
Then I patch things up around January 2nd.
