i used a 90 deville radiator and now i have an 89 radiator brand new but the transmissions sounds and feels like its stuck in low gear almost like i was driving it in low gear and the car decellerates like it were in low gear. help

they don't use modulator valves no more on them,,there controlled by the computer,,and the throttle cable ,that helps govern the pressure ,,it may need to to go to a shop to be checked real good..good luck hope this help,s.

the radiator has nothing to do with it, except for the trans cooler lines. they should have hooked up just fine. there is no such thing as a trans control modulator. there is, however, a vacuum modulator valve. is this what you mean? if so, it is on the front of the transmission just behind where it bolts up to the engine. there is a steel (short rubber sections at each end) vacuum line from the throttle body that runs to the modulator valve. this vac line hooks to the throttle body right next to where the fuel inlet line threads to the throttle body. it goes to the mod. valve. dont kink this line, or mash it. i hope this is what you are talking about.

It's on the back side of the transmission on the right side. you can go to autozone.com and click on repair info then click on product and how to info then click on transmission modulator and it will show you how to replace it.

hey thanks for ur answer on my question and u sounded really stuck up and like you knew the answer, well you were wrong! so maybe actaully knowing the answer to a question before posting it and being a complete douche about it would be in your best intrest next time... thanks.
