What color tights/leggings to wear with brown dress?

Question

I have a short loose-fitting brown dress with long sleeves. Planning on wearing it with tall brown slouching boots. have no idea what color tights to wear. Solid brown would make me look like a UPS driver. Thinking cream, maybe? Need your suggestions/ideas. HELP!

For leggings go with black or gray. For tights go with hunter green, cream, or gray.

Seriously go with classic, Black leggings. And just to add some pizzazz, put on a long, Red necklace.
Oh, I'd lose the tall, Brown boots - it's all over Chocolate overload, lol. Instead go sweet & cute with a pair of pointed toe pumps/ ballet flats.

I think black or dark blue!!! Not cream, it would make you look young and it would be too simple. You could opt for tights with prints!! I personally would go for either black tights and add some black accessories maybe a black thick headband and a black bulky beaded necklace or some kind of diamond printed, like golf socks, tight with brown black and cream in them. I've seen some at Macy's.

Black is always good - it goes with everything. Cream would be nice since it'd correspond with the brown. If you want to make a statement then white would definately stand out, together with dark shoes. Don't go for a primary colour (red, blue green) because that'd just look weird. How about tight jeans? They go with everything!

I recommend white, off white, cream, nude, or even jeans (depends on how it looks!) Sometimes jeans make it look more casual (if you want it to look that way) Especially if its short, jeans are the way to go. NEVER CHOOSE BLACK! brown & black never ever go good together. Boots will make the colors blend together. I promise you that you will not look like a UPS driver!!!

no, stick with brown. you will not look like a ups driver. unless it is a collared shirt with shorts....

tan will most likely look too orange-ish next to the brown.

if you go with cream tights you are going to look like a 6 year old. especially if you add a hair accessory to the outfit....

i wear brown or white tights or black at a push
- they look good with the colour dress

don't wear leggings they look rubbish
- poor substitute for tights!
