High school diploma.
Other than that, you just need some good recipes, nice location, and decent prices. Oh yeah, and plenty of hard work!

This is too easy. You need to know how to run a restaurant. Everything else don't matter.

no education necessary. you need the guts and the gusto to take this on. ready to work 7 days a week until the restaurant starts to run itself. quality, quality, quality and customers will return. (it's called goodwill)

At least 6th grade math. The rest just depends on you. Obviously, you must gain experience, have mentors, a good business system, you must educate yourself on how to read basifc financial business statements. Business is afterall, all about financials, positive cashflow and profits.

You should take some restaurant management classes at your local community college. They teach you how to do pricing, ordering, scheduling, etc.

Eek, I guess a degree in food and hospitality with a minor in business?
I've known people that owned restaurants, though, and have to say that it consumes your life. Beware!!!!!!!!!!!!!
