Far Away by Nickelback (You'll have to watch the video though)
If Everyone Cared by Nickelback
Dont Stop Dancing by Creed
With Arms Wide Open by Creed
You Got It Bad by Usher
Burn by Usher
**Carousel** by Buckcherry (Really sad if listened to after breakup)
Sorry by Buckcherry
Everything by Buckcherry
Say Goodbye by Chris Brown
**Time of Your Life** by Green Day (Real sad song)
How to Save A Life by The Fray
Here Without You by Three Doors Down
If I Could Be Like That by Three Doors Down
Thats all I can think of at the moment and they are all really good songs...Creed's Dont Stop Dancing is more of an inspirational song to say that it could be worse but you cant give up.
If you understand the lyrics, you will understand why some of these are sad songs. Good luck in your search!! =)

Dance with my Father by Luther Vandross.
Just hearing the little "ting ting ting ting" of the first notes gets me going and I can still dance with MY father. Sad. Just sad.
Promise Me by the same artist is a tear jerker, too.
I cried day before yesterday because a chick on myspace lost a good friend on the 8th and she put together a slide show for her with "I Will Always Love You" by Whitney Houston playing and the girl was so pretty and young and I was justa bawlin' like a fool. Like a fool. Neither One of Us (Wants to Be the First to Say Goodbye) by Gladys Knight and the Pips...lyrics and music are both sad sad stuff. The makings of depression.

Back in the 70's, Nilsson's "Without You" is a pretty sad song. From the 60's Ray Peterson had a song called "Tell Laura I Love Her" that would be really sad....if it weren't so sappy. In 1960, Mark Dinning did "Teen Angel," and that was sad, in a high-school sweatheart sort of way...that's three...now get to work, everyone else.

Whitney Housten song from the Bodyguard.
I don't know what it's called but it's beautiful and makes me cry when I listen to it. It's goes like "and I, will always love you...."
Also, "Candle in the wind" by Elton John, makes me think of Princess Diana. Sad but oh so beautiful.

k well this is a toughie..um...I totally agree with "Skittles" about the titanic song and "pa625" is also right about Sinead O'Connor, great love song, but if ANY really sads ong will do, then "Nothing to Lose" by billy talent is the saddest song ever but its not about love, although it did make me cry. And well since i said that thing about billy talent, then i guess i should also mention that Mad World-by Gary Jules is also pretty sad song, but also not a love one...

The Christmas Shoes (I don't know the artist)
It was almost Christmas time, there I stood in another line
Tryin' to buy that last gift or two, not really in the Christmas mood
Standing right in front of me was a little boy waiting anxiously
Pacing 'round like little boys do
And in his hands he held a pair of shoes
His clothes were worn and old, he was dirty from head to toe
And when it came his time to pay
I couldn't believe what I heard him say
Chorus:
Sir, I want to buy these shoes for my Mama, please
It's Christmas Eve and these shoes are just her size
Could you hurry, sir, Daddy says there's not much time
You see she's been sick for quite a while
And I know these shoes would make her smile
And I want her to look beautiful if Mama meets Jesus tonight
He counted pennies for what seemed like years
Then the cashier said, "Son, there's not enough here"
He searched his pockets frantically
Then he turned and he looked at me
He said Mama made Christmas good at our house
Though most years she just did without
Tell me Sir, what am I going to do,
Somehow I've got to buy her these Christmas shoes
So I laid the money down, I just had to help him out
I'll never forget the look on his face when he said
Mama's gonna look so great
Sir, I want to buy these shoes for my Mama, please
It's Christmas Eve and these shoes are just her size
Could you hurry, sir, Daddy says there's not much time
You see she's been sick for quite a while
And I know these shoes would make her smile
And I want her to look beautiful if Mama meets Jesus tonight
Bridge:
I knew I'd caught a glimpse of heaven's love
As he thanked me and ran out
I knew that God had sent that little boy
To remind me just what Christmas is all about
The Leader of the Pack (The Shangri-Las)
Teen Angel (Mark Dinning)
