yes it is. its not divisible by anything but itself and 1. division rules for: 2- ones digit is even 3- if the sum of all the digits in the number add up to be divisible by three. 4- if the last two digits are divisible by 4. 5- last digit is 5 or 0. 6- if the digit is divisible by both 2 and 3. 9- if the sum of the digits is a multiple of nine. 10- if it has 0 at the end.

yes a prime number only has the factors of itself and one. 1 and 23.
examples are : 1, 2. 3 ,5, 7,11,13,17,19,23,31--- ok.

yeah, here's how 2 figure it out. approx sq root is btween 4 & 5. try c-ing if #'s go in up to five. if not, its prime.
