He lived life passionately and was devoted to preserving wildlife through education and inspiration. He believed in what he was doing and was genuine on screen and off. He was blessed with an equally wonderful family, a wife and two children, who share his passion and devotion to nature.
Yes, he died in a freak accident. But he made an impact that will last forever - he taught people to care about nature and inspired a generation. Bindi is now carrying the same torch and speaks with the same passion and drive that her father did.

When I watch tv I like things like Animal Planet and Travel Channel, National Geographic, Food Network , ya know the good stuff. Anyway I really enjoyed Steve Irwin, very entertaining and hilarious. He was always on an adventure and you could say that he had a natural high for the wonders of life and the creation of life. His daughter Bindy was always a joy to watch. She certainly knows how to put on a show! And what a brillant mind the child has. She's certain to have a very bright future. I pray that he now has peace with the Lord.

Steve Irwin was a chance taker. Young people who die and have to leave their young families is very sad.

I know people made fun of him a lot. But really I think he just loved nature. And he loved animals and wanted to teach people about them. He was a good guy.

He knew what the crocodiles could do to him--I guess he wasn't prepared for that sting ray. They said that that type of attack was rare.
