my husband is English and I want to know what is the deal with all you English Cowboy wannabes? Is your name Richard? His friend Richard wanted cowboy boots, his son wants them and they have more friends that are trying to seek them out in London. WOW, I am impressed! We live in Georgia.
If you get the pointy toed ones their great for stomping bugs in corners.
Your best bet would be to figure out your USA size and go up a half size from your regular UK size unless you buy ropers which are I think, wider at the toe end.
Also, the square toed ones are mostly worn by biker dudes out here, I know this because I have several biker dude relatives.
I do have 2 pair myself, a pair of Justin brand navy ropers that I used to wear riding and to the barn and a pointy toed pair of bone/ivory snake skin ones that I used to cut a rug in on Friday and Saturday nights.
My daddy wears them ALL THE TIME. He orders from Sheplers web site....
