I like Flare don't know why they even invented straight legged.

Honestly it all depends on the person's figure and the top they choose to wear.
With a straight legged jean, you pretty much have to have thin long legs. They look great with a pointed flat or are extremely handy with boots. As far as tops they look good with, they look best with an over sized top...they're lack of shape balances out the largeness of a nice flowey blouse.
Yet for most flared jeans are much better! They look good on pretty much everyone! They are also much nicer to people who actually have curves...which most of us women do.
I've gotta agree that for the most part...straight legged jeans are a real downer and an ego crusher for those of us with less than model status legs.

Flare--I like boot cut--the happy medium. It balances out the hips. Only the super-skinny girls look good in straight legged jeans, and even they look better in flares. :-)

Normally I'd go with boot cut, but since that's not an option...definitely flare.

I prefer straight leg, but they're not for everyone. Girls with more "large" legs look best in wide-leg bootcut jeans.

I like both. If it is flare it has to be slight so that they don't look bell bottom-ish.
