who should i believe this person who assured me that she is my friend or my other friend who says that this other girl said, " i cant believe we are friends.

Why can't you have more than one friend?
Is the one friend a "new" friend? Is the other friend jealous? Does this friend have reasons as to why she Isn't or shouldn't be your friend?
There is no reason why you can't be friends with both of them and it is a shame they can't get along and you call be friends together. Sit them down separately and then sit them down together. Invite them to a movie night at your house so you can all get to know each other as a group of friends. You may have to be friends with them separately. Each person as something to offer in a friendship. They should give it a try. Maybe that should be part of the night you get together. Have each person say something nice about each other. Even if it has to do with how nice each other looks, or what a nice thing one of you did for each other. That would get the ball rolling....

its better to talk things out... all you 3 must sit down and talk things about..sometimes transfer of words would make things worse, so better hear it out yourself... at this point you should not trust anyone unless you talk to them both at the same time...
