try something from the The Effects of the Gamma Rays on the Man In The Moon Marigolds, this can be a little intense but if done right the teach will apreesh!

Also, try reading something from one of the Anne Of Green Gables Books...her comedic apology to Mrs Rachel Lind is hilarious and would be just about the right length...

Something from The Diary of Anne Frank would be good, Like the other poster said...

I would not do a movie script, period...I have seen other folks crash and burn and teachers roll their eyes heavenwards when the student announced they were doing a movie bit...

hope this helps!

if it's for a class assignment, I do not suggest movies. teachers don't like that. your best bet are books written in the first person.

I did one a few months back out of Side Effects by Amy Goldman Koss. It's about a 14 year old girl who finds out she has cancer. it's actually a cute funny book and there are good chunks of it that are perfect for monolouges, including a cute little side-thought where she rants about how CAT scan machines look like carnival rides and some funny stuff about the Children's Hospital. minimal language, but it's speckled here and there.

that is, if you have time to research and look for it,
hope it helps any,
God bless

Diary of Anne Frank has some wonderful passages for a girl your age to memorize. "Addie Pray", which became the movie "Paper Moon" should have some good scenes.
