Because neither side, Republican or Democrat wants the un declared wars to end. They are all bought off by Corp. American and could not care less about "We the People"

There are powers in congress to stop this but they will not use it. The same powers i speak of were used for the Korean and Vietnam conflicts(notice I did noit say wars?)
We have not had a declared war since WWII.

A "War on terror" Has not distinguisable enemy, it is an Idea and Ideas cant be stopped or killed.

This is all about Money. The Royal Saudi Family, The Bin Ladin Family and the Bush Family own the carslisle Group which is a defence contractor for the U.S. and has been awarded Billions in NO BID CONTRACTS since 9-11. Halliburton is the same and has close ties to Cheney!

17 of the supposed 9-11 highjackers were from Saudi. The supposed ring leader (OBL) is a saudi and his family in business with the royals and the Bushes!~

What a Game! The Bush Family have control of the U.S. Military and use the carslisle groups weapons to destroy things, and Halliburton Builds it back, and the cycle continues!

Wake Up America! None of them are for us! They are just making money and we are paying the bill and the blood price!

Over the past 70 years (since FDR) the presidencey slowly has become the most powerful branch of the government (some would argue that it goes back to Lincoln). The fact is that the presidence has absolute and total power to manage the armed forces of the U.S. The only thing Congress can do is to deny funding to the troops (which is political suicide so they won't) or to try and impeach Bush which is time consuming and wouldn't go through.
The system works if you have a strong president, and you've seen the result with someone like Bush in office.

Because the Republican Congress didn't do their job and question him for the past 6 years. They just engaged in partisan politics. They were too busy plotting to eliminate the fillibuster to quell Democratic dissent in the name of power politics. So, in the last 6 years, Bush has had a blank check. Now, it'll be interesting to see what the Dems will or even CAN do. It's dangerous ground to take money away from the troops. They are currently looking for ways to not fund the additional troops bush wants over there while still supporting the existing, but that is very tricky and not as easy as it appears at face value. Bush needs to go though before he starts a war with Iran. He's building up to it, now with the UN Sanctions and such. If Iran still defies, look for Bush to stump for harsher UN treatment and eventual military action in his efforts to implement the New World Order.

He has gotten rid of all the voices of dessent around him like Powell and more recently the top Army commanders, and replaced them with people who apparently agree with what he wants to do.
Congress can't really do anything, they can't stop the war. The only thing they could do is cut funding for the war, which would not do any good at all. It would only put the troop in more danger.
Ultimatelty, it comes down to the fact that Bush will do whatever he damn well pleases. That's what I got from his stupid speech last night. He is not going to listen to anyone who doesn't already agree with him.

How come nobody can stop you from asking questions you already know the answer to? HE IS THE PRESIDENTE and i support him fully. The only thing that needs to be stopped is you democrats bush bashing because it certainly doesn't help win the war. I am actually debating with myself if you guys actually do want to win!

Because for the past 6 yrs the Reps have had full control of the Gov't and Bush was in essence able to run it like a dictatorship he's always wanted.

The Dems have controlled Congress for all of a week.

The Repubs have no one to blame but themselves for the mess we are currently in and even with the Dems in control of Congress now, 2 yrs will not be long enough to make a dent in fixing it.

In farm lingo. In order to catch a jackass you first have to get the reins. It takes a little bit to do. Once we do stop him we should do the right thing and put the criminal in prison. While we are at it we should trap the Rockefellers and slap them in the clink too.
The whole mess starts and stops in this globalization effort aka New world order. It's all to position the Rockefeller gang on top of all the world's cash. They are almost positioned now.

That question probably deserves an entire book! But the multi national corporations had a part to play in financing his campaigns. His PR and campaign team? How about the Americans who voted him??? I'm not pinning the blame on anyone but rather trying to say that its not just one person who can stop him. it's got to be more than one person or party or company or political party that can stop him...

Patience--an end is coming, at least there is a light at the end of the tunnel. No one wants a nasty political battle---except George Bush---and the Dems are prepared to give it to him--Stay tuned!!
