For me it is probably going out. I'm a lesbian and sometimes my girlfriend gets introduced as my friend and rarely girlfriend. I don't want to step on anyone's toes until they are more comfortable with the situation but I don't know how long that will take.

When you meet someone you haven't seen for a while and they remember your name, but it's too late to ask for theirs and then you have to introduce that person to one of your friends. Aargh - its agony!!

when im hanging out by myself...i mean i enjoy my own company but it can be awkward when you see people you know or something because not too many people do just go out in public alone
