It's just your uterus stretching to make room because you already have water in there. I was scared to death and when to the e.r. when that happened to me and that was what they said it was. Calm down and enjoy your little bundle of joy growing inside of you. Congrats!!!

i went through the EXACT same thing! My Dr. told me the same thing when I was younger. (20 now) And I was about 4 weeks as well. I started spotting (brown) for a few days....then I started bleeding heavier and heavier. I had to get an emergency dr. appt the next day for blood work and an ultrasound. My blood showed traces of the pregnancy hormone...but my uterus showed no baby. I had miscarried. So MAKE A DR APPONTMENT A.S.A.P!

Most women have cramping in the first trimester and it's normal. If you start bleeding (red blood) you should go to the doctor asap. Try and not stress yourself out to much. Good luck and congrats on the pregnancy!!!

Yes. It's your uterus enlarging. This starts happening right away. Your body's telling you to take it easy if you can. Keep off your feet for awhile.
