Whats wrong with me?

Im 13yrs old and it is so hard for me to go to sleep. It takes me 1-4hrs for me to finally fall to sleep once I lay down, and no its not that Im not tired, because most of the time I am. And this has been happening for like 2yrs. Why do you think this is?

Maybe your mind is just going to fast. I love to sleep and I went thought that stage when I was about your age, and it drove me NUTS. Don't drink any caffeine during the day, I really believe that at 14, you're body does not process it and burn it off as fast as it should. This is what you should do, try reading before you go to sleep. Nothing too complicated, a nice fiction novel. I read for at least 15-20 minutes every night before you go to sleep and even though you're reading, it slows down the brain and relaxes the muscles and clears your head from the millions of thoughts you process throughout the day. I hope you like to read! It would suck to be a clinical insomniac.

Try the reading and have lit candles that give off a soothing aroma. Might want to get into yoga and meditation.

you could have insomnia...which is very common, i've dated 2 women that have the same problem...and they've taken some form of sleeping pills that help them a lot

you probably have disorder that you can;t sleep ever heard of sleeping pills take them they work
