Customer service is terrible. I hate going to stores or having to contact any service provider. Who is hiring these morons? I know lots of people who have enough sense to say "be with you in a moment" or "how can I help you" or "I'm sorry my company screwed you, let me see if I can fix it" who could use a job... What's your story?

I know. I was in 3 stores this week (Sears, Target, Toys R Us) and couldn't find a clerk anywhere. If store don't want to pay to stock each department with a clerk, they could at least have a phone where you can pick up and ask for assistance.

I finally ended up going to (gasp) the mall, which I usually hate. I went to a smaller store there. The clerk was very helpful and the merchandise I wanted was surprisingly reasonable in price.

I don't feel sorry big stores if they lose money because people shop online. If people want no customer service, they can sit at home and use the Internet.

I've had many problems with customer service, that's why I first resort to searching on the internet, forums, etc., before actually going to customer care.

From my experience, just get aggressive with them if you got a faulty product and they'll do anything to shut you up.
