This is going to sound weird, but I love sneezing...except for when I have to wipe afterwards. That doesn't usually happen though.
I absolutely hate coughing.
This is why I'm quitting smoking. Going on day five!

If the reason for the sneeze is not allergic in nature by action, I would definitely say coughing is a "worse sign". The two acts, by themselves, and through their natural purposes in a healthy human-being, is the event that sneezing causes to eliminate the particles on the cilia hairs within the nose, that stop the cilia hair in the nose from doing their job, which is to trap the particles they do stop, BEFORE entering into the lungs.
It is also typical that if a sneeze was caused by allergies, a cough for the same reason usually accompanies the allergic sneeze.
The natural act of coughing is accomplished by the lungs due to the reaction for the removal of partices that have already found their way there, which is a "worse sign" of bodily self-protection.

Coughing. Sneezing feels pretty good. Coughing usually hurts me lol

Coughing for the person doing it because it racks the entire body. Sneezing for the people around the person doing it because the germs spread further in a sneeze.

when your driving, sneezing is worst. But if you are sitting in a meeting at work or in school, coughing sucks!

sneezing...sometimes it hurts...and ancient Indian tribes used to believe that you lose your soul when you sneeze cause your heart stops for a split second...so in a way you kind of die when you sneeze anyway....though uncontrollable coughing sucks, sneezing is still worse....

Both sneezing & coughing when one has food , or drink in your mouth, very annoying...

I think sneezing is worse cause it seems like alot more stuff can come out of your nose than your mouth. On the average of course.
