want to be able to run crysis when it comes out it is asking for at least a 2.8 intel processer will it be enough

No , the cores are independent.

If Crysis supports 2 threads than it will work amazing.

If it does not, then the game will only use one 2.3 ghz processor.

But I think you will be ok with your chip, the video card will be the deciding factor.

I think that you'll be fine, especially if you overclock your processor.
