Does anyone think people these days take a hell of a lot of pills,it seems like every time I go to the Dr. he has a pill for everything.

You need to take control of your own health. You have the right to refuse any medical intervention.
It is called Noncompliance. (you kind of people make wonderful patients)
You won't get prescribed something, if you don't complain.

If you're an American or seeing American doctors, sure do! You know, sometimes actually quite often, one pills is just treating a side effect of another pill and on and on and really, you don't even need all those pills. I suggest you go back to your doctor with a list of the prescriptions you are on and ask him for a detailed reason as to why you are each pill. People sometimes find that the medication they are on is doing more damage than good this way.

My docs don't prescribe too much because they know I hate to take them.
Other doctors in the past tried to put me on antidepressants, sleeping pills, and then had the nerve to write a script for a pill because I was getting dizzy from the other two.
I take some, because my life depends on it.

Yes I think Dr's over perscribe all the time.. It does seem like there is a pill for everything.

personally, i prefer to try natural products. before i go to the dr. , i research my symptoms on the net......get ideas and then TELL the dr. what i think.......he may not like it, but shows him i do know SOMETHING!!
watch out mixing different pills for reactions. good book......"BEST PILLS-WORST PILLS" check it out.
