Perhaps the sun? Many ancient civilizations were sun-centric cultures. Many religions personify and worship the sun as a deity. From a biological perspective, life on earth receives it's energy from the sun. Burning biomass ( ex. lumber) has kept fur-less humanity warm for hundreds of thousands of years. For industrial societies, stored energy in the form of fossil fuels came from solar radiation. Sun power is the basis of photosynthesis, the earth's food chain, carbon cycle and the majority of the earth's ecosystems.
The sun runs on the process of nuclear fusion, converting light elements into heavier elements and releasing those essential photons. Man made atomic reactions are tiny in comparison.
The nuclear force holding atoms together is the source of incredible energies, forces which in times of threatened nuclear war have held the world at hostage. In our culture, money follows the sun - in the form of fossil fuels needed by industry. To the Romans it was: Sol Invictus "the undefeated sun". Perhaps it rules still?

It's the Source that makes the universe work. And do you have any ideas of what it might be? Easy. The Source that created it, The Creator Himself. He gave you energy, through several different things, to ask this question.

Unconditional love is the most powerful force in the universe.
Obviously (in your narrow mind) you want to only hear about a force that is tangible. Those kind of forces don't last, they come and go. Universal love however, will last forever.

Black holes.
Everybody else misinterpretted what you were asking but I got you, buddy.
You were asking what the strongest body of force in the known universe is. Since nothing can escape a black hole, that seems like the logical answer. Especially super mega black holes, like the one in the center of the galaxy or like Rosie O'Donnel's mouth.

I would say either a black hole, specifically one of the biggies at the center of galaxies. They can create quasars of unbelievable energy.
