omg HELP! IM crying?

i had to do system recovery on my computer when i did this and it was over, i tried to go on itunes and it was already downloading to my computer. I cant UNinstall it and install it again for some reason, how do i add my ipod back into my existing itunes? I tried to connect my ipod but it wont work and now i cant stop crying i need help FAST and my SONGS?! they all got deleted off my itunes! HELP ME PLEASE
