yes u can,but u need one of two special things:

1-a TV tuner card to be installed on Ur PC "which contains A / V input" i use this hardware and it is working fine,i connect the a/v cables from the PS2 to it and play on the monitor and u can also connect any device that has a/v output and if device doesn't has a/v u can connect it with RF cables like old TVs.this TV tuner will be a new TV on Ur monitor.(my TV card is LIVE VIEW with FM radio enabled and it has a remote control,it is very good and u can record any video with different types DVD,MPGE1,AVI and so on)

2-if u have a video card with VIDEO INPUT so u can connect the yellow cable of the PS2 only to display on the monitor.

and i think the first option is very good,u can do many things to do with it and u will get a new TV in Ur home, this is a great thing.

Yes, as far as I know most LCD monitors are able to be played on. The of course offer a higher resolution and the only thing needed is any form of AV cable converters. Radio Shack has them, as does Best Buy, Circuit City, and more then likely walmart!

Tv, Computer Monitor... What the difference??? If you open them both up, they are made of the same parts. Is your tv higher or lower in elevation than your monitor? Try putting your tv in place of your monitor... in the terms of angle of view(AOV).

Note: Under no circumstances is one to attempt to take their own tv set apart. It clearly states: Warning: To prevent from ELECTRIC SHOCK, do not open and attempt self maintenence. If damaged or malfunctioning, review owner's manual and seek professional assistance.

At least that what my tv says.

no there is no connection between the two systems that exist or that work safely without causing harm to the computer.
