I need to learn how to get my name on the ballot. Money isn't a problem, neither getting the media's attention isnt either. I will win the public, with my honesty, intelligence, and familiarity of the world's issues. Such as those with Venezuela and its connection to our oil supplies. ZARE 4 President

and yes i was born the state of california, and have a touch of the east coast in me while growing up, and have family in wisconsin and texas. I know what the lives around this great nation of ours is going through. I have seen the small town die off, with small business going down, to huge profitable corporations. Like Arnold, i will require only a small amount of generous donations this will include those of our oil companies, and other carefully selected ones of the Fortune 500. These companies will help us rebuild those small tightnit communites. These are the towns that make our great nation strive, and as we see all around the world, great small communities run their countries and help them prosper. This great nation was based on the same philosophy and we need to bring this ideology back to the people. We have a great number of our baby boomers retiring, and that means little or no money left for the generations up and coming. We will need to reestablish this. More to come...

Venezuela is a chock full of oil. It is a pity that their president dispises the USA or we could have more lucrative oil trades with them.
Well first of all you have to be born in the US so you have to be a natural citizen. You have to be 35 years old. You have to have been living continually in the US for the past 14 years.
To get on the ballot is another issue. There are three routes.
1. Join the Democrat, Republican, or Green Party - then get the nomination from that party to represent it in the race for presidency. You will already be on the ballot as each of those partys are registered in each state.
2. Start your own party. This will require hundres of millions of dollars. You will have to meet different requirements in each US state. Meaning so many party members - applications
3. Run as an indepedent - Take Ralph Nader for example
He was unable to get on the ballot in most states. In most states it required 10,000 signatures on a petition in each congressional district in the state. This requires a lot of money to accomplish. Or you can simply spend about 100 million in advertisements for a write your name on the ballot campaign.
All routes require millions of dollars - and also for you to give me a spot in your cabinet if you are elected hahahahah.

Well, first and foremost you have to be 35 years old and born in the United States. Next read the following:
If you are running for the U.S. House, Senate or the Presidency, you must register with the FEC once you (or persons acting on your behalf) receive contributions or make expenditures in excess of $5,000. Within 15 days of reaching that $5,000 threshold, you must file a Statement of Candidacy (FEC Form 2 [PDF]) authorizing a principal campaign committee to raise and spend funds on your behalf. Within 10 days of that filing, your principal campaign committee must submit a Statement of Organization (FEC Form 1 [PDF]). Your campaign will thereafter report its receipts and disbursements on a regular basis. Campaigns should download the Campaign Guide for Congressional Candidates [PDF] for more information on the laws that apply to them.
All the proper forms are at the link below. Good luck, and don't forget me when your campaign takes off!

Wow your fantasy life is much better than mine. Let me guess you got some of that blue acid that was floating around in the 60's.
And if for the fact that you might really be that educated and rich you are probably way too out of touch with how the average American thinks or lives to make good decisions for them.

I think you are going about it the right way. I have seen many presidents on Yahoo! Answers looking for advice. Keep up the good work!
PS. In part of your details you did not capitalize America. Give me a freakin' break! You have numerous grammatical errors in your writing, and your trying to convince everyone that your some kind of genius. LOL!

You would have to be over 35, a U.S. Born citizen with millions of dollars to spend on campaigning, otherwise you wouldn't even have a shot and an education and experience in politics would help.

I have heard somewhere that there is a list of five necessary qualifications for the ability of being elected to this office. Probably a pre-requisite in your case, may be eloquence 101.

the requirements are 14 years spent in residency in the united states, natural born citizen, and 35 years of age. I'm almost sure that's it.

First be born in america, prostitute yourself to corporate interests, learn to lie and cheat while smiling and blame it on someone else, build a large warchest with corporate and mob money then hire a good public relations firm and buy lots of TV time.
