The Sumatra-Andaman earthquake occurred Decemberr 26, 2004, in the Indian Ocean, off the west coast of Sumatra, Indonesia. The rating on the Richter scale by one laboratory is 9..2, and by another 9.3.

they say this earthquake reached 9 in the 1700 and more recent one:)

hmm for what i remebered there was one.. that was.. about 9.2?
it was.. in um.. ya.. i can't really confirm? it was while ago but it exist. I remeber seeing a snowly.. picture?
so.. check around those areas even though there r alot XD..
