in my itunes library it says i have 60 songs
when its on my iPod i have 80! i scrolled through and noticed some of the songs my friend gave me on a cd are there two or three times! these songs are taking up alot of my memory!
|(they are very long) please! any help!?

You are having this problem because you have your ipod set to: automatically update songs, to correct this go to options and then click manually update songs.

go to C:\Documents and Settings\Owner\My Documents\My Music . . . and then where ever your itunes folder is,

it would normaly be a pain, but since theres only 20 that have repeated it wont be that bad.

just find all the duplicate names and manually delete them.

Next time make sure that ALL songs are in MP3 format BEFORE putting them on your PC and you should be set. if that doesnt work just reply.
