years of paying attorneys has run me ionto the poor house, and i am broke. legal aid leaves much to be desired...it is no secret that our child is suffering greatly from court FORCED continued contact with her abuser...i am now being repeatedly having to appear in court to face false allegations that i am intentionally keeping our child from her father, which is justified, and would actually be functional, but nonetheless, untrue. he is bent on seeing our full destruction...not to mention just plain bent. the country needs to hold judges accountable, and force their kids to visit these sickos...but that is another topic heh

If the courts have failed to properly look at the evidence that you and your attorney have provided. Then you must appeal to a higher court. You can try to move further away so as to make it harder on the other party. Or try to have supervised visits.
If all else fails and your child is truly at risk. Then you may want to consider going underground. This is a very serious last option. I wish you and your child peace.

You say, "years." So, how old is your child? Is there any chance you could teach the child ways of dealing with an abuser? If the child learns how to "win" here, it would mean being triumphant in life. All of us encounter an abusive authority figure sooner or later. Watch some movies together where the child wins. ("Home Alone," "The Ransom of Red Chief," etc.) Make sure the child is armed, in every way (self defense classes, pepper spray, sense of humor). We're on your side...

You feel the Judge's ruling was unjust? Perhaps unconsitutional? Take it to a higher court. When matters become more dire and you feel the ruling party becomes more inept, bypass that stage and go to a Federal or a state Supreme court.

Also, its pretty well known that while the U.S. has one of the better Judiciary System, it IS flawed as hell.
