I am 26 wks pregnant with my first baby and still enjoy an active sex-life with the father-to-be. Lately however, i have discovered that i am alot drier "down there" during foreplay and intercourse.

Everything was normal until a few days ago when i noticed it was more pain than pleasure because i wasn't wet enough even though i was turned on.

Is this a normal? Its never happened before! Is it pregnancy related?

Thanks

Yep could be, I think it is just the pregnancy hormones taking control of your body. Nothing to worry about, it happens to us all. Try some KY and good for you to still be active. It is completely safe to still have sex right up until you deliver.

I am not sure if it is pregnancy related but try using some KY jelly so it is not painful for you.I have heard it is completely safe to use-but probably check with your OB to be on the safe side.
I am 34 weeks pregnant and I am not dry down there but I find sex very uncomfortable-especially the farther along I get.I am not enjoying it much anymore.I can't wait till 6 weeks after the baby when things will be back to normal sexually!

Actually, it's safe to have sex on your prgnncy age. Things that you feel just because the uncomfortable feeling because your stomach is getting bigger and you're suggested. My advise is don't do loveplay, untill you feel it's comfort enough. Find the position that you and your husbnd enjoy. Doing loveplay in the last three semester is very good to stimulate your baby born without c section. My doctor said that sperm and your contraction help your baby put on the right down position. Don't do use any chemical like gel, etc, i'm afraid it can make hazzard.

no under no circumstances! maximum females people who're having a classic being pregnant would proceed to have intercourse authentic up until their water breaks or they bypass into hard artwork.you will not harm the toddler with the aid of MAKING LOVE. The amniotic sac and the stable muscle groups of the uterus look after your toddler, and the thick mucus plug that seals the cervix facilitates shelter against an infection. There are some circumstances, regardless of the incontrovertible fact that, in which you will would desire to alter your interest or abstain from intercourse altogether for section or all your being pregnant. Your midwife or wellbeing practitioner would desire to allow you realize whether you have — or improve — any issues that make intercourse a no-bypass. in case you're uncertain, ask your caregiver. delight in! congratulations ahead!

Yes, it is normal as everyone has been saying. KY Jelly should be fine, but I would recommend consulting with your doctor. I would at that time check with doctor of any time that you should not continue having sex. Typically this should not be an issue unless you run into some kind of complication.
