That everyone is so caught up into sex these days?
Better question.. why am I falling into the category of 'easy'?
Why is it that sex is no longer based on love, but rather competition?
and guys/girls are just play things rather than potential soulmates?
Why do I want to follow my own advice and live by my morals.. but my hormones seem to want to pull me the other way?

Horniness is teh gay.

The reason everyone is so caught up into sex these days is because our society and culture is pushing sex on us younger and younger. That's why we see and hear about kids having sex at 12-13 years old. That's really messed up.

Our public schools are teaching things in sex ed that should NEVER be taught, like homosexuality, and bi-sexuality, also about oral sex. There is NO place for that to be taught in school. Also look at some of the tv commercials on tv, they use sex to sell things, it's not images of people naked, but using sexy women or sexy men to advertise clothing and other things.

Also look at the lyrics in alot of the music that is popular today, it's all about sex.

If your falling into the catagory of easy is because your falling into that trap of society that sex is ok as long as your have safe sex. The ONLY safe sex is not having it at all until your married.

Sex is still based on love, but with what we see in society today, it's really blurred the lines so much it's hard to tell sometimes.

About guys and girls being play things than potential soulmates, that goes both ways. There are people out there who are saving themselves for marriage and I commend them for it. And some are out there who bought into the lies and think if it feels good do it and it's all about me.

I commend you for wanting to follow your own advice and live by your morals. And it's not easy to tell your hormones no. It's calle self control. You cann work on making your self control stronger.

I suggest if your not a Christian and saved already, pray and ask God to forgive you of your sins, and then ask him to give you the strength and the self control to not give into the temptation of sex.

Hope that this helps.

God Bless

I believe it is a simple answer.

Back in the day when there were only a few women to choose from in each small town across America, the men had to compete for the woman's affections.
That was the start of chivalry.

Well since then chivalry has died, due to the fact that there are so many people to choose from as a mate, yet this fact also poses a dilemma which haunts our subconscious mind.

The question is this "What if this isn't the right person for me?"
The way to answer that question is this. If He/She was in a serious car accident and could never have children or sex, then would you be inclined to give up those wonderful things just for love? Most people would answer hell no!

Why should you sacrifice the awesome things in life for one person? Unless it truly is unselfish love.

Again, no one can love you unselfishly at first, and that's why they look for the goodies, such as sex, etc. It's expected, since they can't expect anything else from a stranger.

I feel the same way. My ex used me and my ex before used me for just that: Sex. Society today, mainly men, that women aren't here just to please them. We have lives and morals of our own and they try and manipulate that. Don't let them. I would have waited until marriage before I did anything, but I was pressured into everything. I'm not too happy with myself but I have made a decision not to have sex with my new boyfriend unless we BOTH are ready and we have been together for well over a year or two.
Sex is no longer based on love because people see it as a way of relief. it's so common today that people just don't really care anymore. Its almost like a recreational activity now. Guys just want to get off and girls just want to make the guys happy so they'll like em more. life is now officially s c r e w e d.

what i think, is that guys want to have sex because they think sex makes them more "macho". And why would you be considered easy? Just remember, morals are usually the best way to go, but hormones do tend to make you stray from the best path. I may seem old fasioned, but i think sex should wait until marrige, because marrige shows that you are totally commited to your spouse and you arent going to love anyone else. although how marrige is today, im not too sure.

IS GOOD TO HAVE MORALS AND IS VERY HARD TO FOLLOW THEM.

IS EASY TO JUST HAVE SEX THAN WAIT FOR THAT SPECIAL PERSON THAT WOULD MAKE YOU FEEL ON TOP OF THE WORLD.

SOULMATES ARE HARD TO FIND AND BY JUST HAVING SEX IS NOT THE WAY TO FIND HIM.

SEX IS EVERYWHERE, YOU COULD CONCENTRATE IN GOING IN DATES AND TRY TO FIND SOMEONE THAT COULD COMMIT IN A RELATIONSHIP AND JUST HAVE FUN INSTEAD OF THINKING OF HAVING SEX.

GOOD LUCK

Because , life is a game , control your hormones , and save them for a real man , and you will win , no one said life is easy .

The moment you lose your Faith that he is out there, is the same moment you lose everything !
