Ruben Studdard is the worst "singer" to ever win American idol. Ruben should instead of saying "I'm sorry for" should retire away from music all together and take up professional eating.

he's healthier now, no one should be as fat as he was; not trying to be mean, but it's just too much pressure for the heart to carry that much extra weight. I think Luther Vandross died because his weight was so up & down. I hope Ruben can keep it off and keep giving us his joyful noise...

What are you talking about? He lost weight for his health. Not so that people will like him or not. You probably only seen him on t.v. and he's still pretty hefty, so of course you can't really see the difference yet. He said he lost 40 lbs. When bigger people lose weight it's hard to notice, at first. And he looks fine!

I agree that he looked better bigger. It's also very unhealthy to yo-yo up and down in weight like Luther Vandross did. Regardless of what we like the man needs to keep the weight off, we'll adjust!!

I wasn't a big fan of his before. I didn't feel that he deserved to win second season of American Idol. I liked Clay Aiken better.
