i have a burned movie that will play in any dvd player, but wont play in the xbox! what format does the movie have to be to play in the xbox.. the regular xbox

yeah i have a xbox, and some burn movies will play in mine and some wont and they both can be made by the same cd, so i am not sure.

I tried playing it on Xbox but couldn't,they said you needed a DVD controller or something.

Do you have a remote for your Xbox. Microsoft was stupid in designing the XBOX they won't let you play movies without a DVD remote for so it must be that. Check your manual.

u need a converter to make the discs u burned readable on XBox.
just check out the copy-dvd tool & dvd converters from the following source.
i think they will help :)

id imagine mpg or .mov. But maybe your xbox is shot.
