No, it is destinctly possible to hate the way the president is leading & not hate the country.

To all the conservatives accusing all Bush-haters of being anti-American, I'd like to point out how much venom they spewed ( & still do ) about Bill Clinton.

But many liberals do seem to think it is fashionable to speak ill of America. I guess some conservatives want to assume ALL liberals are like this.

BTW - And if you are part of a music group & spew your hatred of Bush while overseas, I might just decide to never buy any of your CD's anymore. But I should not claim you hate America (Although I'd have a right to that opinion, too.)

"The President is merely the most important among a large number of public servants. He should be supported or opposed exactly to the degree which is warranted by his good conduct or bad conduct, his efficiency or inefficiency in rendering loyal, able, and disinterested service to the Nation as a whole. Therefore it is absolutely necessary that there should be full liberty to tell the truth about his acts, and this means that it is exactly necessary to blame him when he does wrong as to praise him when he does right. Any other attitude in an American citizen is both base and servile. To announce that there must be no criticism of the President, or that we are to stand by the President, right or wrong, is not only unpatriotic and servile, but is morally treasonable to the American public. Nothing but the truth should be spoken about him or any one else. But it is even more important to tell the truth, pleasant or unpleasant, about him than about any one else."

that would be a definite no.

No, it means you love America. NO patriotic American supports GW Bush! Besides being our first anti-people, anti-American, anti-God President, he is also the worst leader of any major nation since World War II Germany and the most outrageous liar ever to lead any nation in the history of the world. So, my dear, you're on sound footing!

No way. George Bush doesn't really represent the whole country's or your political ideology. You just hate his agenda.

Well the Republicans on this site will tell you that you think with emotion not logic, then they'll turn around and tell you just what you asked about.

How's that for good logic?

No, I see it as just the opposite, if you love America, you won't have much use for Bush, his administration or his war.
