First, practice going up and down on the balls of your feet (like being on tippy-toes). Alternate feet without bouncing. Then, still standing in place, make the alternation of feet more fluid. When you master this, start walking going backwards while remembering to make your feet fluid (what makes the Moonwalk so great). Also make sure your head's down. When you're finished with the Moonwalk, spin around and grab your crotch while saying, "Wee hee!"

Okay, step by step:
1. Start with one leg straight and the other slightly bent, with the ball of your foot still on the ground.
2. Drag your straight leg back.
3. Switch the position of the two legs (aka - whichever leg was straight is now bent and the bent is now straight)
4. Repeat steps 1-3.
5. PRACTICE!!!! the more you practice, the smoother the switch (step 3) will get and the cooler it will look!
PS - don't EVER do the cheater moonwalk and drag your bent leg. It looks like you're riding a bycicle. And whenever my dance students do it, I begin to sing the Queen song. Don't make me sing the Queen song! lol, Good luck!

you don't actually moonwalk. you make it look like your doing the moonwalk. a tutorial can be find on youtube. search for how to do the moonwalk. hope this helps. i learned how from that vid. its pretty simple.

So easy, just know at first it will feel werid doing it. If you keep practicing, in about 2 weeks u should get it! It took me only 3 days though. I can t explain how to do it on here but u can go on tube, they got clips to show ya:)

Drag your left foot back, untill only the toes of your left foot are in contact with the ground. Then, simultaneously lower your left foot while draging your right foot back, until only the toes of your right foot are in contact with the ground.
Repeat.
