i was going to the bathroom and when i was wiping, i noticed that there was a little bit of blood on the toilet paper. It's been about a week and now it's not happening anymore. is that a sign that i'm going to start my period soon?

Yes you may be starting to get your period and you may have been spotting slightly or you could have wiped a bit too hard and scratched your skin with the toilet paper and the blood you saw was from the scratch (I've done it before). Either way it's nothing to worry about. If you notice it more often or if the bleeding seems heavier, it's probably your period and you should talk with a trusted female if you haven't already.

Can't say it any better than the other two. Make note of the day on a calender and from the first day it happened count out 28 days. Some where between that and 32 days it may happen again. If it does you will have had your second period.

i was younger then u when i first got mine, atleast if i remember right. i was in 6th grade when mine came. so its very possible that ur body is gettin ready, this happened 2 my neice n shes ur age. i would go talk 2 ur mother, grandmother any female adult u can trust. id say 2 start with pads because i heard something about tampons. u need 2 stay away from them for atleast i said a yr maybe. u can always ask about tampons 2 the female adult u can trust about y u cant use them right away. i never use tampons only because when i did try them, i got a fever dizzy real sick, i wasnt sure y. anyway good luck, just welcome ur womanhood cus there is nothing u can do about periods anyway. they can b a pain in the rear end. but, its part of life and part of being a woman.

yes, it could be... If you saw it while you were wiping a number 2, it could mean that you got torn a little while going - which does happen to some people every now and then...

It could be. Some people spot before they get their period. That means, they bleed a little bit before the real thing comes. You should talk to your mom. She can help you.

Yes, the same thing happend to me when I was about your age (lol I'm starting to sound like my Great Grandma), but I was only 10..
I was scared out of my mind..
I thought it was too early, and was relieved when it stopped.. But then, about a month or two later...
It started..
Now its a pain in the butt!
:(
But we have to live with it..

I had spotting about a year before my period. Talk about it with your mother, or a female adult you trust. Do not hide your doorway to womanhood, embrace it. Just now you need to know, don't have sex, it ruins your life also don't masturbate, focus your mind on something else

I believe so. It happened to me to exactly the same way It happened to you. I was at school and I didn't know what to do. Luckily my friends went through it already and helped me out. Just talk to someone you feel comfortable talking to like your mom (if you two are close) my mom and I aren't so...
