I explain it like this....it felt like a butterfly was inside me and fluttering its wings. I think around 16 weeks was when I first felt it and I had no clue what it was until it happened again and then it dawned on me!

When I felt my baby move for the first time i was about 15 weeks pregnant. I was laying in bed trying to go to sleep and it felt like bubbling in my stomach. It continued for a couple of minutes and when I put my hand on my belly where I felt it ,it felt like a faint heartbeat. But from what I have heard..it feels different to everyone. Congrats! Later on in pregnancy..they never quit moving!

I was 14 weeks when I first felt my baby move, and boy does it ever move! It was so neat. It's almost like a little bubble in your tummy bursting. Today I felt it kick for the first time, and im almost 17 weeks. There was no mistaking that, it was a little poke by my belly button. :) I can't wait until its more regular

My first child started moving around 3 months into my pregnancy. Everyone thought I was crazy and that it was impossible but I knew better. It felt like this tiny little butterfly inside. I knew it was not a muscle spasm because the feeling was the same but would move to different places.

Three to three and a half months..between 12 weeks to 14 weeks pregnant. Fluttering feeling, hard to describe exactly but unmistakable none the less to any mother expecting her baby. When you feel it, you will never forget the feeling nor the wonder of the miracle of the life growing inside of your body.

To me it kind of felt the same as when I roll a ball against the back of my leg (Of course I felt that sensation in my tummy not on my leg). That's the closest think I can relate it to.
Hopefully that helps... :o)
Oh and I was 22 weeks before I felt my little guy move. My husband swears that he felt him at 20 weeks, but he's crazy. LOL

I already suspected I was pregnant because I never missed a period. Mama had told me at about 12 weeks I may feel a fluttering like a butterfly. When it happened I was brought to tears and cried. It is something I've never forgotten even after 35 years.

Around 14 weeks i think, it was very easy, my daughter kicked right at my belly button...I thought something was trying to get out...after that I discribe it as a catapillar waiting to break from its cacoon. I loved it and miss it now that she is 4 yrs old. I use to lay on the couch and watch her move my belly and she turned and kicked.

Around 17 weeks...it felt like someone took their finger on my stomach, about an inch to the left (my left) of my bellybutton, and drew a little curly Q up my stomach.
